Marian Feast Days are among some of the most celebrated in the Catholic Traditions. For this reason I wanted to make something to use for these celebrations that was a quick and easy way to incorporate something lovely into a day. You could even use these cupcake wrappers on pre-made cupcakes from the store.
I love the challenge of doing something different, though, as well. The wrappers are designed in Black and White, however you could try this experiment with the design, as well, for something pretty and different. I used the image to make a Cyanotype, which transferred the beautiful image onto this deep blue paper, and then cut them out to use. It’s a fun project that isn’t too difficult and children could help with the process.
For this project you will need a sheet of transparency film and either premade cyanotype paper, or some that you have prepared yourself. You can look for some ready made, often referred to as Sun Print paper, on Amazon or any other craft supply website. Be sure to follow the instructions for best results.
